UNTITLED - EPILOG is set in a film studio - a space of artifcial image production. The charcters of the film meet in constellations and under power structures they intend to fight, such as director/actor, male/female, white/colored, eastern/western. There is the urge for creation and clearance but by this the situation gets more destructive and complicated. While the director is fighting with her imagination of the characters, fed by preasumptions in both directions, they become more and more real. The claustrophobic atmosphere in the studio space underlines the stuckness of the situation. UNTITLED - EPILOG deals with the in infuence that film industry has on our cultural understanding and aims to discuss the difficulty to create images in a cross-cultural context.
