“Sleepers” is shot during night time at Stansted Airport, known for being the hub for low-cost airlines just outside of London. Because over-night connection flights and very early departures many passengers spend the night at the airport. The camera silently moves through the entrance hall and pans by the sleeping people, laying spread over the chairs of the waiting area or simply on the floor. The place has frozen into the paralysis of the sleeping beauty. The airpot being a place of mobility is contradicting itself in this video by depicting a non-moment in a non-place.
